The Most Attractive Employer in Estonia is the annual survey held by Estonian leading job site & recruitment technology company CVKeskus.ee, where people name the organizations where Estonians would love to work.

The Most Attractive Employers in Estonia 2023

In a survey conducted for the twelfth year in a row by CVKeskus.ee, people chose LHV Pank as Estonia’s Most Attractive Employer of 2023. Swedbank achieved second place & Telia Eesti captured the third position among the best employers.

Elisa Eesti, Eesti Energia, Wise, Bolt Technology, Pipedrive, Tallink & Enefit Green were also selected among the top 10 most attractive employers.

Among the most attractive employers were also Playtech Estonia, Tele2 Eesti, Microsoft, Milrem, Nortal, Coop Pank, SEB Pank, Helmes, ABB & Tallinna Lennujaam.

Compared to last year, newcomers this year among the most attractive employers were Coop Pank (16.), Helmes (18.), ABB (19.) & Tallinna Lennujaam (20.).

What makes a company an attractive employer to work for?

Survey participants were asked to choose up to 3 (out of 27) characteristics, that attractive employers must have.

„If in previous years the most important feature has been a competitive salary level, then this year, for the first time in the history of the survey, the respondents chose flexible work arrangement as the most important characteristic of attractive employers,“ told Grete Adler, head of the CVKeskus.ee Recruitment Agency. She added that flexible work arrangements (including the possibility of remote work) are as expected more important among office workers. „For people working in service, sales or skilled workers the good salary level is still more important than remote work."

In addition, every fourth respondent in the survey pointed out that attractive employers also offer employees good development opportunities and, according to every fifth respondent, flexible working hours, i.e. the freedom to plan their own working hours.

Flexible work arrangements are most important for employees in the IT, telecom, banking, financial, public, recruitment and marketing sectors. However, for people working in the fields of construction, transport and logistics, and healthcare, high salary is a more important factor.

LHV Pank is also the most attractive employer for youngsters

Youngsters selected also LHV Pank to be The Most Attractive Employer in Estonia, followed by Swedbank & Wise.

Pipedrive, Elisa Eesti, Eesti Energia, Telia Eesti, Tele2 Eesti, Bolt Technology & Nortal also achieved a place in the top ten most attractive employers for youngsters.

Who are the most attractive employers in 2023 for people working in Southern, Western, and Eastern Estonia?

People working in South Estonia (incl. Tartu) also chose LHV Pank as the most attractive employer. Swedbank, Telia Eesti, Eesti Energia & Wise were also selected to be among the top five.

In West Estonia (incl. Pärnu) people also chose LHV Pank to be the best, followed by Swedbank, Telia Eesti, Elisa Eesti & Eesti Energia who also achieved the place among the best.

People working in East Estonia named Eesti Energia to be the most attractive employer. LHV Pank, Telia Eesti, Elisa Eesti & Swedbank were also voted to be the most attractive employers for employees from East Estonia.
