Junior Accountant

We are a leading French international construction and infrastructure group delivering major projects across Europe and worldwide. 

As part of the development of Rail Baltica, we are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is an entry-level position perfect for build a solid foundation in accounting and payroll while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
• Support the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and ledgers
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking expenditures
• Help prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Great interest in developing a career in accounting and payroll
• Understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and a desire to learn
• Ability to work well within a team and take initiative
• Previous experience up to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
