Field Application Scientist

- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for Illumina sequencing platforms and reagents

- Assist users with workflow setup including experimental design, sample preparation, library preparation, sequencing runs, and initial data analysis

- Deliver hands-on customer training on instrument operation, maintenance, and best practices

- Troubleshoot complex technical and workflow issues both onsite and remotely

- Partner with Sales and Account Managers to support technical discussions and product demonstrations

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

- Have MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology or related Life Sciences field

- Have theoretical and practical understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies

- Have basic bioinformatics knowledge (FASTQ files, alignment, variant calling, data interpretation)

- Enjoy communication and are keen in finding solutions

- Are self-motivated, react fast to different situations and pay attention to details

- Are fluent in English and have driving license

- Familiarity with laboratory automation systems is an advantage
