Job Description
LOGISTICS SPECIALIST who will ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods, materials, and equipment within the company’s supply chain. The role focuses on organizing and coordinating transportation, customs clearance, and warehouse activities to support production and project needs. This position acts as a key link between suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to guarantee smooth logistics operations and compliance with international trade and transport regulations.
Your key responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate domestic and international shipments (inbound and outbound).
- Manage logistics documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and customs papers.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery performance, and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Support procurement and warehouse teams by aligning delivery schedules with project and production requirements.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service terms with logistics providers to optimize costs and lead times.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport, import/export, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logistics data in the ERP or tracking system.
- Prepare reports and analyses on logistics costs, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects in logistics and supply chain processes
Requirements
We expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or international transportation.
- Experience with import/export operations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Familiarity with working with freight forwarders and logistics service providers).
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
- Fluent oral and written English and Russian, Estonian is an advantage.
