Duty Manager

Job Description

In this position you will….

  • Oversee the hotel’s operations during your shift and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Act as a representative of hotel management in front of guests and team members
  • Welcome guests and build strong relationships with VIP, loyal, and long-stay guests, ensuring their special requests are fulfilled
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a prompt, professional, and solution-focused manner
  • Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, Reservations, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Monitor room allocation, VIP arrivals, and special requests, while supporting inventory control and rate integrity
  • Identify upselling opportunities and actively promote loyalty programs such as Hilton Honors and other hotel services
  • Ensure all operations comply with hotel procedures, safety standards, and fire regulations
  • Take on Night Manager or other operational duties when required

Requirements

We are looking for……

  • Previous supervisory experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector
  • Fluent in English and Estonian – both in speech and in writing (any additional language is an advantage)
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • High level of IT proficiency
  • High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
  • Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
