Join our Air Logistics technology team as a Software Engineer and help shape the future of our mission-critical AirLOG application used across our worldwide Air Forwarding network. Working in a cross-functional, agile environment, you'll collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business experts to deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions that drive operational excellence and digital transformation.

How you create impact

• Develop and enhance functional and technical components for our next-generation Air Logistics platform within a modern continuous delivery environment.
• Contribute to the migration of legacy systems, supporting the transformation from a Java Swing application to a modern Angular-based solution.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software through code reviews, unit testing, and development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Air Logistics stakeholders and product teams to design and deliver innovative features and business solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications while resolving system and production issues effectively.
• Participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through deployment, maintenance, and operational support.

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience with Java and JUnit, with additional knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in frontend development, with strong Angular skills being essential.
• Hands-on experience with development tools and technologies such as IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create pragmatic, innovative, and business-focused solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, paired with a self-driven, detail-oriented, and results-focused mindset; fluent English is required.
