Job Description

We are looking for the IT Project Manager whose focus will be on a technology-related cost optimization program across the Baltic states. The activity will involve developing good relationships across all three business units and departments within, discussing and creating an actionable change or an improvement plan for Baltic’s.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Effectively manage and oversee DPD Baltic projects, including scope, time, budget, risks and resource planning.
  • Guidance: Lead the project team, ensure cross team clarity on the goals, status and next steps.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Identify and address project risks and dependencies. Proactively develop mitigation strategies, ensuring minimal disruptions to the timelines and outcomes.
  • Reporting and Transparency: Regular status, milestone and risk reports to top management. Providing clear insights and maintaining information transparency through the project life cycle.
  • Documentation: Ensure information and change traceability between project teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years hands-on experience as IT Project Manager, successfully implementing software development or IT infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of agile and classic software development cycle.
  • Basic understanding of project resource management and budgeting processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects and project program across various departments.
  • Fluency in English.

Basic understanding of concept and definitions:

  • IT Applications (Applications development, integrations).
  • IT Infrastructure and assets.
  • IT process management (ITIL).

Beneficial skills and understanding:

  • End-to-end understanding of IT value chain (architecture, development, operations, plus GRC, security).
  • High-level understanding of architecture domains/layers (business, applications, data, technology).
  • Understanding of project and IT related finances (CAPEX/OPEX; buy/build/use as-a-service).
  • Understanding of solution deployment models (on-prem/cloud).
  • Knowledge and understanding of PM tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Project management related certifications like PMP, ITIL, Prince2, or similar.
  • Technical hands-on background beneficial.
