Job Description
Do you want a future where people don't have to do all the hard and annoying stuff for society? A future where robots are doing all the work? If that sounds perfect, then come and start as a SENSORS ENGINEER (CAMERA SYSTEMS) to build machines that make it possible.
What you will be doing:
- Integrating and developing camera systems for unmanned vehicles to provide situational awareness for human operator and autonomous operations.
- Leading and taking ownership of camera systems through all product development phases:
- Developing architectures, conducting analysis and trade studies.
- Designing diagrams, schematics, layout, selecting components to ensure functionality of the complete system.
- Taking part in physical integrations and tests.
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines.
- Coordinating with stakeholders and product owners.
- Supporting and troubleshooting existing products.
- Creating and supporting technology roadmap development
- Conducting technical negotiations with partners, clients and suppliers.
- Staying updated on industry best practices and trends, visiting exhibitions and conferences.
Requirements
We're looking forward to these superpowers:
- Experience in working with camera systems (visible spectrum cameras, thermal, stereo-cameras and lighting solutions for cameras).
- Understanding of related engineering domains (mechanics, electronics, sensors, software).
- Educational background (Mechatronics, Electronics, Embedded Systems).
- Previous relevant work experience, at least 3 years.
- Ability to autonomously develop complex systems.
- Fluency in English.
- Open to travel to visit exhibitions, to field-tests etc.
You have a better chance if you have:
- Working experience in automotive camera systems and high-performance computing.
- Knowledge of automotive/military industry.
- Experience in CAD software (CADS Electric, EPLAN, Altium, Eagle, ).
- Systematic and detail oriented.
- Estonian and other foreign.
