Job Description

  • Accounting of the allocated departments: issuing invoices, making accruals and maintaining analytics in accordance with Estonian GAAP and deadlines;
  • Arranging and supervising the performance of junior team members;
  • Accounting of fixed assets;
  • Accounting for intercompany loans and interest calculation;
  • Accounting of assigned subsidiaries and keeping contact with the outsourced providers;
  • Preparing consolidated annual accounts/reports and communicating with the auditors for the subsidiaries;
  • Communicating taxation related questions with the Tax Board and auditors for the subsidiaries;
  • Consulting other department managers in accounting and taxation related matters;
  • Participating in accounting software development.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Accounting Finance or relevant;
  • Previous work experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant;
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures;
  • In-depth understanding of Estonian GAAP;
  • Knowledge of Estonian accounting and applicable regulations;
  • MS Excel skills on intermediate level (previous experience with MS Axapta is a plus);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent English and Estonian language skills;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Strong attention to detail.
