Accounting of the allocated departments: issuing invoices, making accruals and maintaining analytics in accordance with Estonian GAAP and deadlines;
Arranging and supervising the performance of junior team members;
Accounting of fixed assets;
Accounting for intercompany loans and interest calculation;
Accounting of assigned subsidiaries and keeping contact with the outsourced providers;
Preparing consolidated annual accounts/reports and communicating with the auditors for the subsidiaries;
Communicating taxation related questions with the Tax Board and auditors for the subsidiaries;
Consulting other department managers in accounting and taxation related matters;
Participating in accounting software development.
Requirements
Higher education in Accounting Finance or relevant;
Previous work experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant;
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures;
In-depth understanding of Estonian GAAP;
Knowledge of Estonian accounting and applicable regulations;
MS Excel skills on intermediate level (previous experience with MS Axapta is a plus);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent English and Estonian language skills;
Excellent time management skills;
Strong attention to detail.
