R&D Specialist for Bioprocesses

You will contribute to food biotechnology projects, focusing primarily on microbial fermentations in bioreactors involving yeast and bacteria. In this role, you will join a team based at TFTAK that supports Lallemand’s global operations. Lallemand Inc. is a global company specializing in the development and production of microbial cultures and their derivatives for food and biotechnology applications. The TFTAK-based team supports Lallemand’s business units worldwide through expertise in bioprocess development and optimization, helping to drive innovation across the food and biotechnology sectors.

• MSc in biotechnology, biochemical engineering, biology, microbiology, food technology, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of laboratory research experience.
• Basic knowledge of microbial metabolism and fermentation techniques, including batch, fed-batch, and continuous culture.
• Additional experience in the biotech or fermentation industry is an advantage.
• Strong skills in data management, report preparation, and presentation.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Some flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed.
• Candidate should also have professional written and spoken English.
