- Comprehend and execute test cases (manual and automated)
- Uncover, document, and track defects
- Improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage
- Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with developers and others to deliver quality software iteratively
- Participating in requirements testing
- Be an integral part of the team while continuously participating in improving process and test methodologies, execution efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Strong understanding of testing theory and QA best practices, specifically for web services applications
- Solid understanding of distribute architecture and ecosystem
- Familiarity with development and debugging tools for Python, Go, Ruby and React
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test cases using Python and Pytest or Playwright for React
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GHA), including integrating automated tests into workflows
- Proven ability to take ownership of QA processes, ensuring seamless quality management from development to release
- 3+ years of experience in QA roles within agile teams, with a strong focus on desktop application testing
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot complex issues and provide actionable insights
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Ability to mentor team members, drive QA initiatives, and establish robust testing processes
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Go or Ruby or React to understand codebases, debug issues, and collaborate with developers effectively
- Experience with performance and stress testing for web services, including resource monitoring and optimization
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks, such as Postman, Bruno, or equivalent
- Knowledge of security and privacy standards
- Experience with accessibility testing to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines
