Purchasing & Logistics Specialist (FTC 18-months)

We are looking for a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to manage day-to-day purchasing, supplier inquiries and logistics coordination while supporting our Development, Hardware and Production teams. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your procurement and supply chain expertise in a fast-growing defence technology company and gradually take ownership of more complex suppliers, sourcing activities and projects. You will:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and purchase orders.

• Prepare and manage supplier inquiries and RFQs.

• Communicate with suppliers about pricing, availability, lead times and deliveries.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics and transportation.

• Follow up on orders to ensure goods and materials arrive on time.

• Support Development, Hardware and Production teams with purchasing and supply chain activities.

• Identify and source potential new suppliers and solutions when needed.

• Keep purchasing, supplier and logistics information and documentation up to date.

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English for communication with international suppliers and partners.

• Ability to manage several tasks, projects and changing priorities in parallel.

• Experience with logistics and transport coordination is an advantage.

• Experience with ERP or purchasing systems is a plus.

• Technical understanding or an interest in technical products is beneficial.

• Experience in a technical, manufacturing or defence-related environment is an advantage.

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis as maternity leave cover within our Supply Chain team.
