Main responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems and parts using SolidWorks
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and support manufacturing readiness
- Work with production engineers to ensure manufacturability from the early design phase
- Perform and interpret simulation analyses (FEM, thermal, or aerodynamic preferred)
- Contribute to prototype builds, validation testing, and design iterations
- Document and maintain design data, BOMs, and drawings for production handover
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering(or similar)
- 3–6 years of relevant experience
- Proven track record of at least one product taken from design to market
- Strong knowledge of DFMand production workflows
- Experience working closely with manufacturing or suppliers
- Familiarity with injection-molded plastics(tooling, tolerances, materials, design rules)
