Waiter

Izakaya Taro is a Japanese-style izakaya located in the heart of Tallinn Old Town.

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable waiter/waitress to join our international team. At Izakaya Taro, we do more than just serve food – we introduce Japanese food culture and hospitality to our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and serving guests
• Taking orders and processing payments
• Recommending food and drinks
• Explaining Japanese dishes and dining culture
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
• Working closely with kitchen staff and colleagues
• Creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and would like to learn more about Japanese cuisine, culture, and hospitality.

• Has a positive attitude and enjoys customer service
• Speaks English at a communicative level
• Is responsible, punctual, and reliable
• Works well in a team
• Can work evenings and weekends
• Is willing to learn and develop professionally
• Previous restaurant experience is appreciated but not required

Estonian and Russian language skills are considered an advantage.
