Orien Trade OÜ is looking for a Stock Accountant to join our fast-growing team in Tartu. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, inventory data, and structured processes—and wants to help build efficient stock accounting operations across multiple markets.

As a Stock Accountant, you will help ensure that our inventory and financial records are accurate, up to date, and fully aligned with warehouse activities. You will work closely with the warehouse, purchasing, and finance teams to maintain data integrity and support continuous improvements in stock processes.

Your key responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of stock movements, purchases, and sales in accounting and inventory systems
Reconcile physical stock counts with system data and investigate discrepancies
Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory valuation in line with accounting standards
Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure timely and correct recording of goods received and dispatched
Assist with month-end and year-end stock reconciliations
Prepare stock-related reports for management and support auditors with required documentation
Contribute to improving stock accounting and inventory management processes

What we’re looking for

Precise and detail-oriented, with strong numerical accuracy
Good understanding of inventory control and basic accounting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in stock accounting, inventory control, or warehouse finance required
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (Directo, SAP, or similar) is an advantage
Having an accounting diploma is a plus
Fluent in Estonian and English
Able to work on-site at our Tartu office
