Head of accounting

• Lead and oversee all accounting operations together with the outsourced accounting service partner, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, taxes and payroll
• In responsible to all communication with the outsourced partner
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls covering all subsidiaries in Europe
• Manage individual and consolidated financial statement preparation in compliance with applicable standards
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes

• Proven experience in a senior accounting leadership role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing audits and complex accounting processes
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Effective communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders in English
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred
