Job Description

ENSAPIA Estonia is looking for a creative and motivated Junior–Mid Level 2D Artist / Graphic Designer to join our team in Tallinn.

We create digital experiences focused on avatars, customization, fashion, characters, and virtual worlds. As part of our art team, you will create visual assets for our projects and work closely with other artists, designers, and developers.

We are open to both junior artists starting their professional careers and artists with a few years of industry experience. Previous professional experience is not essential for junior candidates — your portfolio, artistic fundamentals, creativity, and potential are more important to us.

Key Responsibilities

Create 2D visual assets for our digital projects
Design avatar-related content such as fashion items, accessories, objects, and other visual elements
Produce artwork that follows the project’s existing art style and direction
Prepare assets according to technical and production guidelines
Work closely with other artists, designers, and developers
Improve and iterate on artwork based on feedback
Participate in creative discussions and contribute ideas for new content and virtual worlds
Help maintain visual quality and consistency across the project

This is a full-time, office-based position in Tallinn. This position is not available remotely.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong artistic fundamentals who is curious, collaborative, and interested in creating digital worlds.

Strong understanding of composition, color, shape, and visual balance
Good digital drawing and illustration skills
Confident working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Ability to understand and adapt to an established art style
Interest in avatars, fashion, characters, games, or virtual worlds
Ability to follow technical requirements when preparing digital assets
Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and improve your work
Good communication and teamwork skills
Conversational English
Ability to work full-time from our Tallinn office

Would be a plus

Previous professional experience as a 2D Artist, Illustrator, or Graphic Designer
Adobe Illustrator experience
2D animation or motion design skills
Experience creating assets for mobile games or applications
Experience with Unity or game-production pipelines
Interest in character design, digital fashion, accessories, or environment design

A CV and portfolio is required. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
