Delivery Lead (Devices Unit)

Job Description

Your work will be focused on the following:

  • Lead planning and supervise execution of the projects within the Business Unit.
  • Be the technical voice in customer meetings- support sales, validate needs, and translate them into viable solution approaches.
  • Guide and mentor delivery teams, removing blockers and keeping focus on delivery.
  • Create people’s development plans, knowing the technology trends, needs and creating individual plans for people according to the technologies and competencies needed in the Unit.
  • Ensure engineering delivery, quality, architectural soundness, and scalability of delivered solutions.
  • Oversee project health across the lifecycle- recruitment, onboarding, execution, and ramp-down.
  • Align delivery practices with business goals- balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
  • Drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.
  • Participate in planning and executing business strategy and services together with Business Unit Lead.

Requirements

  • Have a solid technical foundation and hands-on experience as an Embedded Engineer.
  • Have led at least small team(s) and have leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire engineers and help them grow professionally.
  • Can confidently participate in technical pre-sales, solution planning, and client communication.
  • Understands both technical detail and business context, and can act as a bridge between the two.
  • Have great collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • Have strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks.
  • Show initiative, learn continuously, be curious and care about delivering impactful results.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. The Estonian language is not mandatory but would be a big plus.
  • Readiness to contribute directly to development activities.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with embedded or industrial systems.
  • Interested in industrial automation.
  • Previous experience with change management.
