Valuation Specialist (Financial Markets area)

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Compile, reconcile and analyse daily results in Swedbank financial markets trading and sales units;
• Proactively communicate with trading and supporting units while investigating and analyzing matters related to daily results;
• Cooperate with Swedbank Group accounting and valuation related units and provide inputs for various reporting flows;
• Improve the efficiency and accuracy of daily delivery of results and valuation operations;
• Participate in financial markets valuation area related IT and business projects;
• Investigate, analyse and resolve valuation related issues, consult various business parties in the questions of operational valuation area.

We are looking for a Valuation Specialist to join our cross border operational valuation team, primarily supporting Swedbank Group financial markets trading units in Stockholm and Oslo. You will have crucial role in ensuring reporting of accurate and timely financial results in markets related business lines within the bank.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and drive for continuous development;
• You like to work with numbers and databases and have good analytical skills;
• Good communication skills and fluent English;
• You appreciate teamwork but at the same time you are self-sufficient in your tasks;
• You have proficiency in Excel functionalities and applications; knowledge and prior experience with programming languages (SQL, VBA, Python, R etc.) will be a benefit;
• Higher education (or in acquisition), preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or IT
• Keen interest in financial markets
• Prior knowledge on the principles and methods of financial instruments and transactions valuation, previous financial or data analysis experience would be a benefit.
