Currently looking  for a TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT

Main responsibilities:

• Verifies that ship´s are maintained and operated in line with International and Flag State regulations and the Company ´s policies and procedures. Delivers active management of safety on board the vessels in collaboration with SQM Department.
• Plans, controls and executes all activities connected with the maintenance,repairs and surveys of the vessels, communication with classification societies. Deals with findings according to results of statutory and classification surveys in relation to all plant and equipment on the vessel.
• Ensures the vessels are adequately manned with fully trained and competent crew in collaboration with the crewing department.

• Previous experience on board as Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer
• Excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required. Estonian and Russian on communication level.
• Analytical and highly proactive in technical trouleshooting and problem solving.
