Tallinn International Kindergarten is looking for a kind, proactive, and experienced KINDERGARTEN TEACHER ASSISTANT to work with our Nursery and Daycare Groups. A very good level of English is required; Estonian or Russian skills are an advantage, but not mandatory.
Start date: ASAP
Main Duties:
Supporting the teacher and children with daily routines (dressing, eating, bathroom routines, naps, arrival & dismissal).
Assisting during activities and play, helping to prepare learning materials.
Maintaining cleanliness in the classrooms — including tidying, wiping surfaces, vacuuming/mopping when needed, and supporting general hygiene routines.
Being ready to help in both Nursery (2–3 years old, 10 children) and Daycare (1.5–2 years old) when required.
Working Hours
Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30
Communication and teaching are conducted in English.
Experience in early childhood education and relevant qualifications.
Very good command of English and strong communication skills.
Ability to organise your own work, follow routines, and show flexibility during the day.
Energetic, active, and physically ready for work with young children.
Honest, responsible, and committed to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Minimal skills in Estonian or Russian are beneficial, but not required.
Clean criminal background (mandatory).
A calm, friendly, and supportive international team.
Moderate workload (small groups, 10 children in Nursery + 5 in Daycare).
Possible participation in interesting Erasmus+ projects.
Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer holidays in line with the kindergarten calendar.
