Senior Finance Program Manager

Occasional remote work possibility

Job Description

About the role

We’re looking for a Finance Senior Program Manager to lead and support complex, multi-stream and cross-functional finance initiatives. You’ll bring structure and transparency to complex projects, helping ensure they are delivered efficiently, on time and in line with governance and compliance requirements.

As part of the Finance PMO team, you’ll partner closely with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Controlling and Reporting, as well as stakeholders across Commerce and the wider business. You’ll translate Finance and Tax requirements into clear project plans, manage risks and dependencies, and support process optimisation and financial systems implementation.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead and support finance initiatives, including new launches, feature implementations, finance process implementation and automation, alongside tax-related initiatives such as e-invoicing, regulatory and compliance mandates, VAT projects and tax-driven system updates.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, establishing clear plans, ownership and timelines while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
  • Act as a key point of contact between Finance, Commerce and business teams on initiatives with financial or tax impact, ensuring early Finance and Tax involvement.
  • Maintain clear project communication and provide regular updates to stakeholders to support effective cross-functional delivery.
  • Design, maintain and continuously improve governance for financial, tax and regulatory changes, including appropriate documentation, approvals and audit trails.
  • Drive finance process optimisation and support the implementation of systems, tools and project management best practices that improve efficiency, transparency and standardisation.

Requirements

  • Proven program management experience, ideally within Finance or IT in a fast-paced technology or multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes and the ability to work effectively across Finance sub-teams and identify the implications of business or system changes.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, including approaches such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing complex, cross-functional and multi-country or multi-jurisdiction initiatives where requirements may differ significantly by market.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to tax processes, invoicing systems, compliance-driven change, Product, Commerce or Data flows is an advantage.

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
