Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Scientist (Bioconjugation / ADC) to join our R&D-based production team. This role focuses on the hands-on development and execution of mainly antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and protein labelling workflows, including dye
conjugation and linker-based modifications.
This position is suited for a scientist who combines strong theoretical understanding with rigorous laboratory execution and a reproducibility-driven mindset in a fast-paced biotech environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Design and execute bioconjugation experiments (ADC and protein labeling)
• Optimize reactions with focus on reproducibility, yield, and product quality
• Perform, coordinate and optimize protein purification workflows to support conjugation
• Plan and interpret analytical data to guide experimental decisions
• Troubleshoot experimental issues and identify root causes
• Maintain clear and reproducible experimental documentation
• Execute experiments with strict adherence to protocols; deviations must be scientifically justified
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Requirements
Required qualifications:
• Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in bioconjugation: lysine, cysteine, or site-specific conjugation, protein labeling with small molecules or dyes
• Demonstrated ability to generate reproducible experimental results and follow protocols
• Practical experience in protein purification and handling at preparative scale including SEC, IEX and affinity chromatography, buffer exchange techniques
• Practical experience with biomolecule characterization techniques (e.g., SEC, HIC, LC-MS or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of experimental work
Preferred experience:
• with ADC-specific challenges (e.g., DAR control, aggregation)
• integrating purification, conjugation, and analytical workflows
• in a regulated or highly structured laboratory environment
• troubleshooting complex experimental workflows
• with analytical software or data interpretation workflows
