Märjamaa Parish is located in Rapla County on both sides of the Tallinn-Pärnu highway and extends from Harju County to Pärnu County. Here intersect the north-south oriented Tallinn-Pärnu-Ikla highway (Via Baltica) and the east-west oriented Tartu-Paide-Märjamaa-Haapsalu road. The parish contains a town and 112 villages.
