Junior Inventory Analyst, Rentals

Occasional remote work possibility

Job Description

About the role

As a Junior Inventory Analyst, you will join Bolt’s Rentals Inventory and Warehouse team in Tallinn, Estonia.

In this role, you will work with inventory, purchasing, and operational data to help us make smarter decisions about spare parts availability, stock positioning, and repair speed across our global Rentals business. Your work will directly support the availability of Bolt’s e-bikes and e-scooters by helping ensure that the right spare parts are available in the right place at the right time.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will analyse consumption trends, maintain planning tools, build reports and dashboards, automate manual workflows, and help the team with data-driven inventory planning.

Please note that this role is based in Tallinn, Estonia. For this position, we do not provide relocation support or visa sponsorship.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyse spare parts consumption, inventory levels, and market trends to support monthly purchasing recommendations and demand planning decisions.
  • Maintain and improve planning tools, reports, and dashboards that help monitor stock availability, inventory performance, and key operational KPIs.
  • Identify stock-related issues, cost anomalies, data inconsistencies, and recurring process gaps, and support root cause analysis to resolve them.
  • Automate manual reporting, data maintenance, and workflow steps using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, Python, Apps Script, or similar.
  • Support procurement and inventory planning activities, including spare parts forecasting, supplier or PO-related data checks, and planning accuracy improvements.
  • Collaborate with Inventory, Warehousing, Procurement, and central operations teams to improve data visibility, document best practices, and help the team use analytical tools more effectively.

Requirements

  • You have experience in supply chain, inventory management, demand planning, logistics, or a similar operational analytics role.
  • You have worked with sales, consumption, inventory, or market data, and can turn trends and patterns into practical forecasts or planning recommendations.
  • You have a strong technical toolkit, including advanced Google Sheets or Excel, SQL, and ideally Python, Apps Script, or similar automation tools.
  • You have experience with building reports, dashboards, or visualisations in tools such as Looker or similar, and know how to make data easy to understand and use.
  • You are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with operational data where accuracy, timing, and business impact matter.
  • You communicate clearly in English and enjoy working with different teams to solve problems, improve processes, and reduce manual work through better tools, documentation, and automation.

Company offers

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
