Construction Site Manager – Job Description

A Site Manager is responsible for the daily management of a construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, on schedule, and within the agreed budget. The role includes leading and coordinating personnel, assigning tasks, supervising work quality, and maintaining efficient workflow on the site.

The position requires continuous communication to keep the project on track. Daily responsibilities include solving operational issues, handling unexpected changes in plans, adjusting schedules, and ensuring that resources such as staff, machinery, and materials are available when needed.

A Site Manager must be able to make quick decisions, resolve problems that arise during construction, and adapt to unforeseen situations. The role also includes responsibility for workplace safety, compliance with regulations, documentation, and overall coordination of activities on the construction site.

Employment Conditions

  • Employer-paid travel tickets (ferry or flight) from the employee’s country of residence to Sweden.

  • Accommodation provided during the work period in Sweden.

  • Collective work contract in accordance with Swedish industry standards.

  • Work schedule: 3 weeks in Sweden followed by 1 week at home.

  • Company car, work computer, work phone and work clothing provided by the employer.
