Aruheina Lasteaias on 9 rühma, mis on saanud nimed heinas toimetavate mutukate järgi. Suminat ja tegutsemist jätkub terveks päevaks. Loodud on turvalised ja loovad tingimused lapse igakülgseks ja loomulikuks arenguks. Mis peamine – lasteaias peab kõigil lõbus olema! Lastega töötavad oma tööd armastavad inimesed, kes on lastele ja peredele toeks sammude sammumisel Aruheinas. Lasteaia moto: Väikeste sammude jõud on suur!
Igapäevatöös tegelevad rühmas lastega üks õpetaja ja kaks abiõpetajat. Lisaks muusikaõpetajad ja liikumisõpetajad ning logopeedid, eripedagoog, sotsiaalpedagoog vastavalt vajadusele. Õppekasvatusprotsessis rakendatakse projektõpet kui lapsest lähtuvat pedagoogikat, mille aluseks on lapse huvid ja vajadused.
Lasteaed on arhitektuurselt moodne ja rõõmus, mille ruumid on valgusküllased ning avarad. Nagu lapsedki, on ka rühmaruumid veidi ise loomuga. Palju aknaid ja kui istuda vihmase ilmaga toas ning aknast välja vaadata, siis oleks justkui õues. Lasteaia hooviala mitmekesine ning loodud katusealused ja võimalused mitmekesiseks tegevuseks. Varustatud kaasaegsete ja lapsesõbralike mängu- ja ronimisvahenditega ning märgistatud liiklusrajaga. Lasteaia ees Rae valla esimene toiduringluskapp ning õuealal päris meie ilmavaatlustorn. Hooviala toetab õuesõpet ja keskkonnakasvatust. Omame märgist "Tervist edendav töökoht".

In Aruheina Kindergarten, there are 9 groups named after the bugs working in the hay. There is buzzing and activity throughout the whole day. Safe and creative conditions have been established for the child's comprehensive and natural development. Most importantly, everyone must have fun in kindergarten! People who love their work, and support children and families in their journey in Aruheina, work with the children. The kindergarten’s motto: The power of small steps is great!
In daily work, each group has one teacher and two assistant teachers working with the children, along with music and physical education teachers, speech therapists, special education teachers, and social educators as needed. The educational process applies project-based teaching as child-centered pedagogy based on the interests and needs of the child.
The kindergarten is architecturally modern and cheerful, with spaces that are bright and spacious. Like the children, the group rooms also have a bit of character. There are many windows, and when sitting indoors on a rainy day and looking out, it feels like being outside. The kindergarten's yard area is diverse, with shelters and opportunities for a variety of activities. It is equipped with modern, child-friendly play and climbing equipment and a designated traffic path. In front of the kindergarten is the first food sharing cupboard in Rae Parish, and in the outdoor area, there is our own weather observation tower. The yard area supports outdoor learning and environmental education. We have the label "Health Promoting Workplace."
