About the job
The recovery department contributes to the recovery and quality work and helps to prevent unnecessary costs to assets and give products a second chance with bottom line profit and sustainability in mind.
Your tasks will include
Work close together with co-workers from the entire pick up point to prevent products to arrive at recovery.
Receiving goods brought back by customers and process them in a sustainable way.
Repack damaged packages.
Check product quality and report all quality issues to IKEA of Sweden.
Support co-workers in improving IKEA quality, react on possible safety problems and report.
Build up and sell furniture for an attractive price in the As-Is corner.
Do your best to reduce environmental impact at all time.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you need to have:
A positive mind-set and approach and connection to the IKEA Values.
Highly motivated to give IKEA products a second change.
Extensive knowledge of using IT systems and other tools in daily work duties.
Ability to prioritize daily tasks based on need and volume and work under pressure.
Operational understanding and logical thinking.
Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Flexible with a readiness to change.
Ability to work well both in a team and individually.
