We are a grocery retail company working with small farmers and local producers. We deliver all natural, organic, clean label products to the biggest supermarket chains in Baltics and provide reliable services both to business partners and customers. We are setting up our operations in Estonia under the "Talu Toidab" brand and looking for a reliable person to run the assortment management operations.

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Category Manager who will take care of daily assortment management activities (dairy products, processed meats, dry & beverages). You will be responsible for the "Talu Toidab" assortment management, negotiations with the suppliers, new assortment development and pricing, new suppliers onboarding.

Ensure smooth day-to-day assortment management operations
Organize and supervise daily assortment improvement tasks
Make sure the team follows established processes
Solve daily issues with the suppliers
Monitor product performance and create assortment improvement strategy
Build strong relationships with new and current suppliers
Identify assortment related problems and handle them quickly
Co-run product pricing and sales growth strategy implementation
Plan and organize promo/discount campaigns

Requirements

Experience in food industry, retail (preferably experience in supermarkets or grocery chains)
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Good communication skills
English language proficiency at C1 level or higher (required)
Experience in organic food sales/purchase activities - an advantage
