Accountant manager

We are looking for a senior accountant to work as the accountancy manager of part of our accountancy department. Your tasks will involve not only accountancy duties but managing and ensuring the quality of work of your team of accountants.

You will work in our offices in Tallinn or can work remotely from home, but you will manage a remote team and ensure they are doing their job correctly.

What will you do
- Manage the accountancy team and review their work
- Encourage, teach and support the accountancy team, answering questions and guiding them.
- Meet with the accountancy team regularly and manage their activities
- prepare VAT reports
- prepare tax (TSD) reports
- Calculate taxes to be paid by customers
- Help registering companies or applying for VAT
- Submit reports to the tax authorities
- Prepare and review annual activity reports
- Other tasks required to take care of the bookkeeping and tax compliance of the customer.

Skills and requirements

- Degree in accountancy or economics.
- At least 2 years of certifiable experience working on accountancy duties.
- Comfortable communicating in English, Estonian and Russian.
- Good knowledge of email, Skype, and Office tools (Word, Google Docs, Excel, etc...).
- Management skills, experience managing teams greatly appreciated
- Capable of working under pressure during punctual situations (i.e: accountancy deadlines)
- Attention to detail and passion for your job.
- Technologically savvy and willing to learn new things and use new tools.

- have responsibility. As an accountant, you will be assigned some companies, and will be in charge of preparing and submitting the taxes, VAT, and compliance reports for these companies.
