What we are looking for

Directa24 is looking for a full-time results-driven talent for our growing commercial team in Montevideo. The ideal candidate is merchant-focused and able to take smart risks based on solid strategy and deep customer understanding. We are a fast-paced company seeking candidates who like working directly with customers and grow with us. This role is ideal for someone sales-minded who is looking for a career path that offers a future in sales and account management.

 

What you’ll do

  • Sell Directa24´s payment solutions to merchants generating new business.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Manage a variety of client accounts; understand client needs and strategize with team members to meet those needs.
  • Looks for opportunities to grow a business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities.
  • Identify and implement new market development opportunities that contribute to the growth of the business.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to broaden the scope of services offered to existing and new clients.
  • Build and develop long-term strategic partnerships with global merchants.
  • Maintain personal networks, participate in professional organizations, attend conferences and industry events, and develop other means of generating interest from potential clients.


Requirements


  •  3+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance.

  • Proven success partnering and working cross-functionally to make things happen.

  • Established relevant business network.

  • Negociation skills.

  • Ability to prioritise.

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to solve tough problems.

  • Team player -participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations.

  • Proven deal closer and strong negotiator.

  • Proactive and detailed oriented.

  • Fluent in English is a must.

  • Experience in payments or other financial systems is a plus.
