Job Description
We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join Sunly’s Finance team and strengthen financial reporting and controlling across the group.
In this role, you’ll help turn financial information into a clear view of how our business, investments and projects are performing, supporting informed decision-making across Sunly.
- Prepare and coordinate group-level internal reporting to track the financial performance of our investments, projects and businesses.
- Analyse financial performance, KPIs and profitability, identify trends and deviations, and turn them into useful insights for management.
- Prepare clear financial analyses, reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare financial and covenant reporting for banks and other financing partners, particularly for bank-financed projects.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances and follow up with relevant teams.
- Take an active role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Support due diligence, financing and capital raise processes by preparing and analysing financial data.
- Work closely with project, accounting and finance teams across Sunly to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and consistent.
- Improve reporting processes, financial models and controlling tools as our business and portfolio continue to grow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in financial controlling, FP&A, financial analysis or a similar finance role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with complex financial analysis and modelling.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and eagerness to use innovation and AI in your work.
