EHS Manager

Job Description

To support our journey towards zero accidents, we are looking for a hands-on EHS Manager to support Saue Factory. In this position you are accountable to drive and implement a safety culture within manufacturing site at Saue. You lead the implementation of EHS management systems with the objective to create and support a safe workplace, and improve control over environmental risks, as well as increased sustainability within Saue factory.

 

Your responsibilities are:

  • keeping the management systems up to date and integrated within the sites
  • driving a safety culture together with the local Management Team through promotion of safe behavior and organizational ownership of the safety agenda by the business
  • define annual plans for Training, Communication and site HSE priorities. Support the factory in implementing a Safety management system in accordance to Paulig Safety Culture program (rules and procedures, workplace analysis & RCA, hazard prevention and risk analysis, promoting safety behaviour and building a safety culture, execute safety training, toolboxes)
  • monitoring and analysing EHS data. Proposing, planning and implementing corrective actions
  • guaranteeing legal follow-up & compliance with national standards and regulations
  • coordinating and leading internal & external EHS audits
  • supporting risk assessment for chemicals and being responsible for chemical handling system

Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • University degree in preferably engineering + additional trainings in the area of EHS
  • 5 years of relevant experience in implementing and developing EHS management systems
  • ability to interpret and implement EHS legislation
  • good experience in planning and performing audits within EHS
  • good leadership skills, continuous improvement mentality and skills
  • fluency in English and Estonian, Russian is a plus

 

You should also excel in managing and organizing time and resources, deciding and igniting actions, influencing others and building relations across the organization and achieving objectives.
