Data Analytics Manager, Delivery Marketing

Occasional remote work possibility

Job Description

About the role

As a Data Analytics Manager in the Delivery Marketing team, you'll lead a small team of analysts (2 to 4 people) and be responsible for making sure we're making the best decisions across our Delivery business. This is a player-coach role: part hands-on analysis, part people leadership. You'll measure the impact of marketing initiatives across channels and markets, identify the tactics with the highest incremental performance, and recommend how our global and local teams should spend their time and budgets across dozens of countries. You'll also act as a strategic thought partner to senior marketing leadership, helping shape new initiatives and guiding strategy and budget decisions, working closely with marketing and central management teams, plus industry partners like Google, Meta, and TikTok.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of analysts (2 to 4 people), owning hiring, performance management, and career growth for your team.
  • Own capital allocation for Delivery marketing spend, optimising investment across channels and markets to maximise incremental return, and translating business priorities into a clear measurement roadmap.
  • Play a key role as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, shaping new initiatives and using data to align stakeholders on strategy and budget decisions.
  • Proactively collaborate with CRM and cross-functional teams to strengthen how we measure and act on our comms' performance.
  • Design frameworks, playbooks, and automation that scale the team beyond one-off requests, using AI to drive process efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with large volumes of data and solving real-world analytical problems, ideally in a large tech environment.
  • 1+ years of experience managing or mentoring analysts, with a clear track record of leading analytical work through influence.
  • Strong SQL skills and solid proficiency in Python or R, with a strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and A/B testing.
  • Proficient in at least one BI tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI) with a strong eye for data visualisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with senior and cross-functional stakeholders, managing complex analytical projects end-to-end.

  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
