Chief Accountant-Finance Manager

• Own full accounting cycle: books, month-end close, reconciliations, VAT/tax filings and payroll oversight.

• Cost accounting & manufacturing finance: BOM costing, unit economics, inventory accounting and COGS modelling for small assembly and outsourced contract manufacturing.

• Own investor reporting and board packs: monthly/quarterly financials, cash-flow forecasts and scenario analysis.

• Maintain 12–24 month rolling forecasts (P&L/BS/CF), scenario analysis and runway/burn planning.

• Tender & grant modelling: build P&L/BS/CF bid models for defence tenders and EDF/European grants; map and justify eligible costs.

• Compliance & controls: implement internal controls, maintain audit trails for grants and public contracts, and own grant compliance reporting.

• Cross-functional partner: work closely with Engineering, Business Development, Procurement and Legal to translate technical and commercial assumptions into defensible financials.

Required skills:

• Qualified accountant with 4-8 years’ hands-on accounting experience.

• University degree in finance or related field

• Cost accounting & manufacturing costing (BOM/unit costing, COGS, supplier/CM pricing).

• Excellent communication: translate technical/operational inputs into clear financial narratives and assumptions.

• Fluent English; Estonian required

Additional skills that are nice to have:

• Experience with SmartAccounts/Envoice or similar local accounting tools.

• Strong FP&A & financial modelling (advanced Excel/Sheets; P&L/BS/CF builds and scenario forecasting).

• Tender/grant or public procurement experience (EDF/defence tenders or similar).

• Investor reporting and board pack preparation.

• Monthly gross salary €4,000-6,000 based on experience and impact

• Exposure to strategic decision-making, investors and board reporting.
