Area Manager in Financing Support Programs Sub-Department

•  manage, supervise and improve processes related to guarantee programs provided by Estonian state institutions and EIB Group;
• keep competence on products in particular area, consolidate business needs and align business processes across the Baltics;
• ensure alignment with Swedbank Group standards and credit governance principles;
• support colleagues in finding the most suitable solutions for customers and develop the competence related to financing support programs among all related units.

The role holder is also expected to be able to initiate and execute projects with different level of complexity within the field of corporate lending.

Lending to corporates is being transformed. Customer demands and increased competition are the main drivers for this change, but also expectations from regulators. The digital journey including automatization is currently most articulated regarding smaller companies.

• High aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving;
• You are a strong team player and willing to cooperate with different counterparties across countries;
• Experience from working with corporate lending primarily to small and medium size corporates;
• Be able to communicate effortlessly in Estonian and English, both in writing and in speech;
• Good analytical and argumentation skills;
• High self-leadership skills;
• Structured way of working: you are good at time management, prioritization, planning and information structuring etc.;
• University degree preferably in business field.
