Accountant (Navis International Trade & Consulting)

As Accountant, you will be involved in the full accounting cycle and help ensure that Navis Group's financial information is accurate, timely and compliant.

This is a hands-on accounting role with an international dimension. In addition to everyday accounting, you will contribute to month-end and year-end processes, intercompany accounting, financial analysis and the continued development and automation of finance processes.

In this role, you will:

• manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and reconciliations;
• prepare journal entries and manage payment runs;
• review invoices, expenses and cash flow;
• handle accounting across multiple companies and currencies;
• contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes;
• reconcile profit and loss and balance sheet accounts;
• collaborate on VAT returns and support tax compliance;
• ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards;
• cooperate with external accounting providers and maintain accurate financial documentation;
• manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations;
• coordinate intercompany invoicing and month-end confirmations;
• contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls;
• support ERP implementation and finance automation initiatives;
• provide financial analysis and support budgeting;
• review contracts from a financial perspective.

• at least 2–3 years of accounting experience;
• education in finance or accounting;
• experience with multi-company and multi-currency accounting;
• experience working with international teams and external accounting providers;
• a strong understanding of IFRS or local GAAP;
• experience working with ERP systems;
• advanced Excel skills and confidence using MS Office;
• fluent English and professional fluency in at least one other EU language. Proficiency in Estonian would be considered an advantage.

The position is based in Tallinn or Pärnu and is offered as a full-time indefinite employment contract under Estonian law.

The candidate must be fit to travel in all EU region and UK without restrictions/ or need of visa (we do not offer working visa to non- EU applicants).
