Job Description
We are seeking a Data Governance and Architecture Lead to establish and manage a robust Data Management business capability in the Baltics.
Responsibilities:
- Define the overall vision for Data Management and establish a robust Data Management business capability.
- Manage Data Governance and Architecture functional area.
- Develop and implement Data policies, standards, and procedures for data management across the data lifecycle.
- Select tools, technologies, and platforms for data management.
- Develop, document, and manage data models to optimize data flows and data storage.
- Design, implement, and manage data warehouse and data analytics systems.
- Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making.
- Ensure that data from various sources is integrated and managed consistently.
- Ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection regulations, and standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align data architecture with business goals and needs.
- Ensure that data governance practices are aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate and supervise Data Analysts to maintain and improve data quality across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in the Data area (e.g., Data Officer, Senior Data Analyst, or Data Architect positions).
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIS2).
- Understanding of data modeling (e.g., conceptual, logical, physical models).
- Strong focus on strategic, long-term planning and scalability.
- Expertise in data modeling, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data warehousing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
