Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:

This newly created position will report to the Manager Warehouse and be responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, ensuring the integrity of stock levels held within the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and packaging of product for final dispatch.   Additionally, the position will involve many aspects of international shipping along with warehousing duties.  This will include (but not restricted to) tasks such as periodic stock taking along with monitoring and re-ordering of packaging materials.

The role will involve excellent communication and planning skills to allow working closely with both Inventory Planning and Sales Coordination to ensure that we have inventory integrity, accuracy and quality throughout our process and up to the point of delivery. Ability to take independent decisions will be important in this role.

The location of this position is in Foetz, Luxembourg.

Essential Responsibilities:

Tasks will include (but are not limited to) the following:

 

  • Goods receiving, counting in and checking for damaged or missing items.
  • Processing goods received notes between stores and accounting.
  • Booking stock into and out of store using ERP software. Maintaining the database to ensure stock integrity.
  • Working with the Sales Coordinator and Inventory Planner to securely and accurately pick, pack and label goods for dispatch.
  • Undertake periodic stock checks as directed by your line manager and support annual stocktaking and audit action.
  • Organizing international shipping with differing courier services. To ensure safe and timely delivery to customers and suppliers.
  • Work with the Corporate Planner and the Production Supervisor to implemented effective and robust inventory processes and procedures to ensure a high level of stock/inventory integrity and accuracy.
  • Keep the stores area neat, clean and safe.
  • Plan inbound and outbound logistics; ensure the timely shipping liaising with the transportation company.

Requirements

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Fluency in English is essential, German and/or Estonian are an asset.
  • Military or law enforcement experience will be advantageous.
  • Previously working within a store or warehouse will also be advantageous.
  • Computer literacy on all main Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Experience of sales order processing, order fulfilment and shipping in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is an advantage.
  • Experience using ERP solutions or similar database/inventory systems.
  • Physically capable of lifting items and moving boxes of stock around by hand.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a very strong attention to detail.
