Senior Automotive Quality Engineer

• Leading, coordinating and executing non-conformances in case of customer complaints, using 8D
• Liaising directly with customers, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers regarding quality Issues
• Planning, developing and implementing process controls to reduce customer rejects
• Supporting development department through APQP process and AIAG production part approval process and submitting PPAP documentation to customer
• Preparation of all documentation associated with project launch and development of quality targets
• Monitoring information associated with the quality of a project, making process improvements and evaluation of corrective actions taken
• Coordinating customer quality systems within our company

As an Automotive Quality Engineer, you represent our company well by being highly motivated, enthusiastic and by demonstrating the will to go above and beyond the call of duty. You are highly detail-oriented and well organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. In addition you are a good communicator and display strong people skills.

Specific qualifications for the position include:
• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• German language is beneficial
• Proficiency using tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA and fundamental knowledge in ISO TS 16949
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment working with new product development
• Familiarity with manufacturing Process Flow, Corrective Action Process and Problem Solving
Methodologies (5-why, 8D, Ishikawa, FTA, etc.)
