What You’ll Be Doing

Technical Product Specialist acts as a critical link between Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Sales. Technical Product Specialist provides technical expertise throughout the full project lifecycle. This role ensures that product non-functional requirements are technically feasible, clearly defined, and correctly implemented within the established system architecture. More in detail, you will:

  • Define and manage system and non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, scalability, reliability), ensuring they are clear, measurable, and traceable.
  • Assess technical feasibility, risks, and dependencies, supporting product planning and development throughout the lifecycle.
  • Explain system design expectations to meet non-functional requirements and clarifies requirements to the engineering teams.
  • Plan and lead non-functional requirement and  integration testing to ensure system stability and quality.
  • Investigate complex technical issues (L2 level support), perform root cause analysis, and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Support sales and delivery processes by preparing technical proposals, documentation, and contributing to customer training and solution handover.

What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, system integration, or a similar technical role, preferably in real-time or safety-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, including hardware–software integration, peripheral components, networking fundamentals and proven experience in requirements engineering, including defining and managing non-functional requirements (NFRs).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical feasibility, identify risks, and troubleshoot complex system issues. Also the ability to analyze system logs and perform root cause analysis for technical incidents.
  • Experience with integration testing and validating end-to-end system functionality.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Support), preferably in agile environments and partners across multiple geographical locations.
  • Proficiency in Estonian and English language.

It is important to know that the position may require travelling. The candidate must be able to travel to Canada, United States and other countries if it´s needed.
