Summer Trainee for Sea Operations Liner Services

Job Description

We are looking for two (2) Summer Trainees to join our Head Quarter Liner Operations team to help us cover smoothly summer holiday period. You will be responsible for coordinating and administrating bookings, updating shipping schedules, and communicating changes in transportation to relevant parties. You will cooperate closely with business stakeholders and other Liner team members

Your location will be in Tallinn, Estonia. The positions are temporary covering the summer 2026 period.

Requirements

Your main tasks cover the following:

  • Coordinate and administrate bookings related to Liner Service transports. 

  • Maintain & update shipping schedules in Fenix

  • Support mills and Customer Service Centers in daily matters

  • Update stakeholders with shipping information

  • Participate in planning and coordination of Liner service meetings

  • Rail coordination to/from the Swedish mills to/from the port of Gothenburg, planning and follow-up (in case that part of the job is assigned to you)

  • Communicate the volumes for the coming weeks from SF to stakeholders

  • Communicate the SECU volumes from the Swedish mills (in case that part of the job is assigned to you)

  • Follow-up systems (Fenix, M2LP) and make sure information is up to date

  • Close contact with ports regarding arrived-in-time/late cargo, advancing cargo, etc. 

  • Keep responsible manager well up to date regarding any deviations from “happy flow” – late cargo, new destinations, less allotment, schedule deviations
