The Strategic Buyer is responsible for ensuring reliable and timely supply to manufacturing operations while driving cost efficiency through negotiation and value-based sourcing. The role focuses on supplier selection and management, price negotiations, and accurate cost input to RFQ and BOM processes. The Strategic Buyer leads sourcing and optimization initiatives from data-driven analysis to implementation and measurable results. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders is essential to ensure purchasing data accuracy and mitigate supply and cost risks.

The candidate has at least two years of experience in a similar role and holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance, manufacturing, or business management. Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office are essential for evaluating costs, sourcing scenarios, and supply risks. Experience with ERP systems is expected, with SAP knowledge considered an advantage. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, a structured and flexible working style, and a hands-on “can do” attitude.
