Stoneridge Electronics is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager (SQA). The role is a part of Stoneridge Electronics Procurement Organization and reports to the SQA Group Manager. The Procurement Team is a global cross functional team. This position is based in Tallinn and will require travels both within the company and to the world-wide supplier base.
Responsibilities:
As a SQA Manager you will be responsible for the Supplier Quality Assurance within your area of responsibility. You will work close to the Strategic Sourcing team, Procurement Project team, D&D and Operations. The main processes the SQA manager operates in are the Supplier Selection, PPAP and Supplier Development processes.
Main elements are:
- Supplier Development: Work proactively to develop supplier performance by supplier visits, audits and improvement projects. Monitor supplier performance; follow up corrective actions and continuous improvements
- Development Projects: Give input to development projects regarding supplier performance, and supplier processes. Drive supplier material quality problems in the project phase. Responsible for supplier quality input to supplier selection decision
- PPAP: PPAP assessment in new projects and running production, follow up PPAP, perform product audits at suppliers at start of production
- Supplier production process: Learn suppliers production processes and become an expert within Stoneridge regarding suppliers processes
- Supplier claims: 8D follow up and closure, improvements through PDCA model, manage inspection plans for incoming inspection, etc.
Ootused kandidaadile
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master in Engineering, proven experience in the Quality Assurance area or proven experience in Supplier Quality Assurance
- Long experience from electronics, electro-mechanics and/or mechanics production
- Well established knowledge of quality processes and tools
- Experience in managing projects
- Fluent in English (both verbal and writing)
- Knowledge of MRP
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- On the personal level you are open minded, respectful, flexible, proactive, can handle stress and very supportive
Other recommended experience:
- Proven experience from the automotive industry
- Proven supplier/product auditing experience/certification, ISO 19011 or similar
