Software Engineer for Fraud Prevention

Job Description

Are you passionate about technical challenges and eager to contribute to fighting against fraud?

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain and develop different platforms (e.g. fraud management & deployment tools) used by many teams across Swedbank Baltics;
  • Contribute in improving service modelling and continuously updating existing and mandatory service documentation;
  • Support production systems to be up and running 24/7;
  • Be involved in end-to-end service analysis, design, development, testing and implementation;
  • Be responsible for service maintenance, performance, availability and monitoring improvement tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or a great reason for not having one;
  • Experience in Java programming;
  • Experience and knowledge of Linux servers;
  • Good skills of maintaining systems in production;
  • Experience with containerization and with database development and maintenance is considered as a big bonus;
  • A constant desire to stay on top of technology, share and implement good practices;
  • Being a solution-oriented team player;
  • Great communication skills and the ability to speak and write proficiently in English;
  • Willingness to work in an agile way.
