Software Developer

Job responsibilities are:

• Developing and maintaining both in-house and client solutions;
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain platforms;
• Actively participating in the development and implementation of security policies and measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborating closely with the product management team to understand user requirements and contribute to the creation of detailed technical specifications;
• Participating actively in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards;
• Conducting comprehensive testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, to ensure high reliability and robustness;
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest innovative solutions that enhance the platforms' functionality and performance;
• Creating thorough documentation of code, processes, and configurations for the benefit of the development team and other stakeholders;
• Offering technical support and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment if needed.

It would be beneficial if you have:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, C++ and Go;
• At least 5 years of experience in coding, design, data handling, and standardisation;
• An appropriate Bachelor's or Master's degree or a valid justification for not possessing one;
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth through continuous learning and keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies;
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse projects and technologies when required;
• Understanding of software development methodologies;
• Capability to delve into details and work independently;
• Ability to take initiative;
• Capacity to work effectively in a small team of developers;
• Can-do mindset;
• Fluency in both Estonian and English. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues;
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, quality assurance, and UI/UX designers.
