Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with the Computer Vision and Perception team. Computer vision is the core of out robot's perceptual stack. Our algorithms work in real time, and span from low level image processing to object detection, tracking, segmentation and scene understanding with deep neural networks.

In this role, you will get to

    • Develop object detection, tracking and motion prediction algorithms and
    • deploy them on multiple platforms, including embedded boards, cloud GPUs, and hardware neural network accelerators.
    • You will also support:
    • Making data driven decisions for new algorithms development
    • Designing processes and infrastructure for deployment and testing of neural networks
    • Monitoring accuracy and reliability of deployed modules

Requirements

To be set up for success, you would ideally have experience with:

    • Object detection/tracking applied to real-world problems
    • Implementing state-of-the-art computer vision and perception algorithms
    • Real-time algorithms with tight constraints
    • C/C++, Python, ROS, OpenCV, PyTorch, Tensorflow,
    • Embedded and real-time DNN models (YOLO, SSD, MobileNet, etc...)

Company offers

So why should you consider joining us?

    • To start with: we at Starship are building world-changing technology to disrupt the delivery industry :)
      If that's not enough:
    • We are a fast growing startup meaning we have super opportunities to grow within the company
    • Exciting possibilities to build systems and processes from scratch
    • Endless opportunities to learn from our inspirational, talented team members across the globe

If you're motivated by the thought of being part of the future of delivery,  and you'd like to get to know our robots and our people, get in touch and let’s have a chat!
