PRNEWS.IO is a content marketing platform that connects brands with news outlets around the world. Founded in Eastern Europe, the company helps global brands get media coverage and rewards news publishers.

Sales team


The sales team is responsible for brands using the PRNEWS.IO platform and for recruiting new brands.


We build our sales team to quickly scale our client base and identify new revenue opportunities within existing clients.


Our clients are diverse and range from startups to international companies, but they all rely on PRNEWS.IO to implement our sponsored content distribution mechanism.


Now we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team on a permanent basis.


This position plays a key role in driving sales growth. You will be the first point of contact for a diverse array of prospects from some of the largest and fastest-growing organizations in the world.


Sales Development Representative reports to the Head of Sales and focuses on constant contact with successful and inspiring entrepreneurs and people who make decisions about advertising budgets to help them with the best decisions.



  • Find ideal customer profiles that require cold outreach to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Identify decision makers by finding their contact information to make connections.
  • Make connections through a variety of methods - through phone calls, social media, emails, or in-person meetings.
  • Keep our Terrasoft CRM up to date, create periodic detailed reports to track problems, identify causes of routing and take action to resolve them.
  • Discover new opportunities and provide quality and relevant sales information to help close deals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from early qualification to closing.
  • Gather feedback from potential customers to pass on to the marketing department and engineers to improve the product.
  • Close interaction with teammates sometimes may require working overtime during heavy workloads.
  • Share experience and methodology with colleagues in the sales department.


Key requirements:

  • 2 years of sales experience (in online advertising or digital services).
  • High communication skills to work comfortably with cold calls and personalized email correspondence.
  • Proficiency in business English at a high level, and knowledge of a second language is welcomed.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to change (driven by our growth in different geographic markets).
  • Sincere curiosity to learn new trends.
  • Passion for a career in sales.



  • You have a knack for Excel or Google Sheets, knowing formulas and regular expressions.
  • You have experience using applications like Crunchbase, Linkedin Sales Nav, Hunter, Snov.io.
  • You have experience selling ads on news sites.
  • You have an understanding of the digital advertising marketplace.

Your personal growth plan:

  • In the first week, you introduce yourself to PRNEWS.IO team members, begin to understand the platform's products and navigate all of the internal systems.
  • In the first month, you will start communicating with potential clients. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, reporting, and optimizing the chain of communication leading up to the first deal.
  • After three months, you will be the day-to-day point of contact for your clients, helping them achieve their KPIs and develop data-driven optimization strategies. You will be recognized for campaign successes and your own failures.
  • When you finish your first year, you'll be an important member of the prospect team, contributing significantly to PRNEWS.IO's success in the content marketing and digital PR marketplace.
