Job Description
The main responsibilities for the position will be:
- Drive the mill Safety Action plan to be prioritized by the Mill Director
- Active member of the Mill management team
- Minimum 80 % of working time is allocated to Safety and possibly IMS for the remainder time
- Lead the implementation and development of the processes of Safety Toolbox 2.0
- Coordinate Safety audits and inspection of facilities, machinery and Safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and to ensure Safety regulation compliance
- Support investigation of accidents, near-miss incidents and occupational injuries to determine causes and install preventive measures
- Coordinate employee Safety reporting and programs, including review of short and long term strategic Safety planning and development
- Enforce compliance of the rules and regulations that applies for the mill based on:
- Applicable local safety laws and regulations
- Group and division Safety procedures
- Output and findings from e.g risk assessments and incident investigations
- Spends his/ her working time 50 % minimum in the mill e.g. training, observing, coaching and investigating
Requirements
Requirements for the applicants:
- Bachelor degree and professional education or similar
- Either 3-5 years of field Safety experience or working in a role in operations with very strong connection to Safety Management
- Estonian and English, due to networking and training personnel in start-up phase
- Knowledge about best Safety practices, leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks and the ability to raise Safety awareness
- Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations and rules
- Very good know how of MS Office and Outlook
- Knowledge about Integrated Management Systems
- Ability to build trust and confidence with management and employees on all levels
- Comprehensive view with excellent analytical skills and persistence in order to get things done
- Ability to cooperate, having a natural interest to involve people and support others

- Excellent and clear communication
- Accuracy and a quality-oriented mindset
- Flexibility, able of coping with stress and a fast-paced working environment
